About the Module: History & Culture
This is not a history class. It is a civilisational journey — designed to immerse learners in the depth, diversity, and dynamism of Bharat’s past and present. It unearths the spirit behind the symbols, the stories behind the structures, the worldview behind the events. We explore:
- Ancient civilisations and kingdoms not as dusty relics, but as models of innovation and dharma
- Indigenous knowledge systems — in astronomy, medicine, metallurgy, mathematics
- Sacred geography and regional heritage — from Kashi to Kanchipuram, from Hampi to Majuli
- Intellectual and spiritual traditions — from Vedanta to Bhakti, Buddhism to Sufism

- Unsung heroes, local legends, cultural shifts — that shaped identity at every level
